Beginning Beekeeping Classes: Peconic Bay Vineyards

During the course of the series, master beekeeper, Chris Kelly, will cover topics including purchasing the right bee equipment and protective gear &bees, bee biology & population dynamics, hive inspection basics: what to look for and why. In addition, create your beekeeping calendar for your first year.


Classes will run every other Thursday night, starting 1/11/2023 from 6-7pm at Peconic Bay Vineyards.

Intermediate Beekeeping Classes: Corey Creek

This course is designed for a beekeeper with 1-3 years of experienceThe focus of the course is to develop a bee plan for the student. Alongside the master beekeeper, Chris Kelly, students will work on the strengths and weakness faced in their bee hives throughout the year. Then, students will devise a plan to improve their beekeeping practice.

Classes will run every other Saturday morning, starting 1/6/2023 from 10-11 am at Corey Creek Tap Room.
