We are looking for 4 pairs of people.

OPTION 1:

Participate in the Northern Queen Initiative, a nation-wide community science research project.This multi-season initiative aims to map, test, and elevate resilient bee genetics across a wide range of climates—recognizing that geography and winter hardiness play a critical role in colony survival.

 

OPTION 2:

Learn to manage a bee-yard with an experienced bee student.

 

Mandatory supplies required:

• bee suit

• smoker

• hive tool

• infrared headlamp
